Relaxed party zones
My sister is an OCD player like myself, she has multiple level 80 villages all at 18 to 20 fame, but she is on the verge of quitting because she can't handle the pressure of the obligation to keep checking-in on the parties she's joined. I really don't want her to quit, esp. because I enjoy the in-game chat, lol.
I know a lot of players are pretty relaxed, like me, about check-ins while others are very strict about it. I think it would be nice if we could somehow indicate on our signs if we are "relaxed" about check-ins to our parties.
So I'm wondering if there are other players out there going through the same issues? How do you deal with it? What would be a good way to indicate this? Should we have a special add-me list or a thread whe we could invite relaxed partiers?
A few neighbors of mine have put in their welcome messages that they're relaxed about people checking into their parties. I think that's the most appropriate place - I wouldn't remember what people might have said on this forum.
I think I'm going to add something similar to my message.
My message includes "no stress allowed." I collect very regularly but some of my neighbours are really stressed if their parties don't go Epic and I don't get it if they are not trying to get on the Leader Board or are maxed out.

yah my baby town is also a relaxed zone, all my neighs on that account are relaxed neighbors, with the few exception that added me to help me level where I only join their smaller parties since I know I don't collect as much on that account.
Thanks for the ideas. I got personal invitations to some masquerades recently, but when I went to the towns to join the message boards had messages indicating a very serious desire for it to go epic. Knowing that most masquerades don't go epic (not sure I've ever seen an epic one, in fact) I decided not to join the masquerade and later joined GOs. I just didn't want the pressure. Imagine - finding an open masquerade and not joining....

Hopefully that was just because of the perfect storm challenge, but probably not. In my experience lots of masqs go epic but some people are looking for that first one and it can become a bit of an obsession. IMHO, you need to have that first epic, but then the extra fame points for an epic masq versus a three-ballooner is not enough to stress out over.
